The advantages of different frequencies of induction heating equipment are as follows:
1. Low frequency induction heating mode
The frequency is the lowest, and the frequency range is from power frequency (50Hz) to about 1kHz. Most commonly used frequencies are power frequency. The relative heating depth is the deepest and the heating thickness is the largest, about 10-20mm;. Frequency range: General 1kHz to 20kHz, typical value is 8kHz. The heating depth and thickness are about 3-10mm. It is mainly used for heating, annealing, tempering, tempering and surface quenching of large workpieces, large diameter shafts, large diameter thick wall pipes, large module gears and other workpieces, as well as red stamping and forging of small diameter bars.
3. Ultra audio frequency induction heating mode
Frequency range: About 20kHz to 40KHz (because the audio frequency is 20Hz to 20kHz, it is called super audio). Heating depth and thickness, about 2-3mm. It is mainly used for deep heating, annealing, tempering and tempering of workpieces with medium diameter, heating, welding and hot assembly of thin-walled pipes with large diameter, quenching of medium gears, etc.
4. High frequency induction heating mode
Frequency range: common 40KHz to 200kHz, common 40KHz to 80kHz. Heating depth and thickness, about 1-2mm. Induction heating surface quenching equipment is mainly used for deep heating, red stamping, forging, annealing, tempering, quenching and tempering of small workpieces, surface quenching, heating, welding and hot assembly of medium diameter pipes, pinion quenching, etc.
5. UHF induction heating mode
The frequency is relatively highest, and the frequency range is more than 200kHz, and can be as high as tens of MHz. The minimum heating depth and thickness is about 0.1-1mm. It is mainly used for quenching and welding of local very small parts or very fine bars, surface quenching of small workpieces, etc.
At the same time, these five kinds of induction heating equipment have certain advantages. They all use IGBT induction heating power supply, which is the most energy-saving and environmental friendly induction heating equipment.
① Main features: small size, large power, fast heating, transparent core and low power consumption.
② Power saving situation: compared with the old SCR medium frequency, the SCR medium frequency heating power consumption per ton of workpiece is about 470 degrees.
③ Circuit features: the main device adopts IGBT module. The circuit does not control full bridge rectification, capacitor filtering, bridge inverter and series resonant output. It is fundamentally different from the old medium frequency with thyristor parallel resonance.
④ Power saving principle: uncontrollable rectification, and the rectifier circuit is fully conductive. High power factor, voltage type series resonance, etc. determine that the equipment saves power greatly.
