Medium frequency induction heating furnace adopts the principle of electromagnetic induction heating. It generates induction current of the same frequency with the aid of the alternating magnetic field generated by the inductor. The uneven distribution of induction current in the workpiece makes the surface of the workpiece strong and the interior weak, and the center is close to zero, so as to achieve the purpose of heating.  
What precautions do you have when using medium frequency induction heating furnace? Now let's have a look!  
matters needing attention:
1. The medium frequency induction furnace shall adopt a special rectifier transformer to improve the supply voltage and limit the no-load operation of the transformer.  
2. Standardize the installation, shorten the connection between high-voltage, transformer, intermediate frequency power supply and electric furnace, select T2 copper or oxygen free copper with high purity, especially the induction coil and water-cooled cable, and increase its sectional area to effectively reduce current heat loss.  
3. Select appropriate capacity and frequency medium frequency electric furnace according to casting process, increase power density to improve melting efficiency and reduce additional loss.  
4. Steel shell furnace body with furnace cover is preferred to reduce heat loss and electromagnetic loss of furnace wall and furnace mouth. The connection of furnace shell prevents short circuit caused by metal contact during operation.  
5. Formulate reasonable casting process, standardize process operation from molding, material selection, melting, pouring, heat treatment, cleaning, etc., and manage scientifically to reduce energy consumption.  
6. Strengthen equipment management and maintenance, reduce failure rate and ensure smooth production.  
7. Frequently check whether the connection parts of each conductive system are in good contact, especially whether the screws at the connection between the water-cooled cable and the induction coil are fastened. The insulating platform and insulating boots must be inspected once a year.  
8. It is strictly prohibited to cut off power and water during smelting. Pay attention to the water outlet temperature and water pressure at any time during smelting to keep the water pressure at 0.1~0.3MPa and the water outlet temperature below 55 °.  
9. During the charging operation, the cold and wet furnace materials shall be dried first, and cannot be directly added into the molten liquid. It is better to avoid using the metal chip when the first furnace is used, because the metal chip can penetrate into the furnace lining gap; The molten iron can only be poured into the furnace when the furnace is heated to about 1000 ℃. The furnace can be heated by adding iron block for induction heating.  
10. The freezing and sealing time of furnace charge shall not be too long to avoid explosion accident of furnace; After sintering the furnace lining, it is better to use 30~50% of the rated power to continuously work for more than 5 heats.
